Winery Rauš is distinguished by the production of attributive wines, especially our high quality red and dessert wines.
The wines the winery produce acquire their unique taste and flavour due to the unmistakable influence of the local Pálava microclimate which protects vineyards from serious storms and ensures continual sunshine.
Pálava limestone massif provides our wines with special characteristics, so typical for the region of South Moravia. The winery initiated production of red wines back in 2009 following the example and methods of Velké Pavlovice’s wine growers of the 19th century. The production principle rests in a long maceration of the blue grapes mash and a subsequent wine aging in oak barrels which takes 12 to 24 months. For the aging are used wooden oak barrels.
